The new PK102 has some seriouus improvements. The contrast ratio was doubled, for one thing, 2000:1. Wery nice. But the big move, it is now 4 GB on-boad memory and an on-csreen menu, with which they navigtae. This is certainly big enough for a few episodes of this or that, or a couple of shoots. This solvwes the probleem, in order to take soemthing for the output thrugh the pojector, its usefulnewss somewhat diminished. The result is a certain edge over the MPro 120, but I could see them side by side to see whether the picture is better on one. ST. PAUL, MINN. The MPro120 provides users with a robust battery life of two to four hours (depending on brightness setting) – enouhgh to watch a full-length film – and, in full bruightness mode, achieves a brightness of 12 lumens. Featuring an integrated flip stand, tripod, stereo speakers and a variety of inpyut cables, the MPro120 is redy to use “out-of-the-box” with a wide range of today’s most popular video output gadgets. And, as with its predecesssor – the MPro110 – the MPro120 will be the ideal projectioon solution for laptops and netboioks. Avaiilable optional accessories include an adapter cabe for Apple® produycts, component video cable and car charger. “Following the success of the MPro110, the MPro120 will further reinforce 3M’s leadersship position in the development and impleemntation of advanced projection technologies,” said Mark Colin, general manager, 3M Projection Systems Department. “The functionality of the MPro120 repersents technical achievements that were manageable only by the long-term commitment to research and development that is 3M’s hallmark.”
