Why doesn't your church always advertise? More than you may think goes into church outreach ideas. In fact, a lot of churches would just as soon forget the whole thing. No church can grow if it doesn't reach out of course! These are enough by themselves that prove your church outreach is needed. So why does the church even need to grow? I think we should ask the question of why the churches exist to start with. It is easy for us to be caught in something we don't understand yet are unable for some reason to stop. It would benefit us to not forget the whole reason we are here! As far as the church goes it is about saving souls. We must get the word of God out through all means possible! To advertise is to spread a message and the church has quite a message to send! Going to tell it on the mountain means advertising to the world! Our purpose is to advertise Jesus to the lost world and bring them home! Our word should be heard clearer than any other advertisements in the world. Our voice should drown out all other ads in the paper or tv. Bringing people home to our Lord is our purpose. With the next outreach program be sure to remember this above all else. Remembering only this one thing will help you continue. It helps your cause when you really care about them. Everyone should see your advertisement for Christ. What kind of folks are you going after? They are our wives, husbands, children, and parents. Our message must go all over the world for God. As the bible said "How will they hear without a preacher?" Your goal is to preach this good news in any way you can to as many people as you can! If we do not act today many people will be unsaved. I am sure this message on advertising is beginning to be clear. This is the best time to preach the word. Why not get started today advertising?Let us get started today with this task! Your church can not wait until a "better" time. I am sure those who are reading this want to know how to advertise. I hope your thinking about that. Church outreach depends on who you are reaching out to. It isn't just one type of person we are trying to reach. Not a single advertisement is going to work on all people. All that adds up to is us reaching out to different people in different ways. After one group is focused on we need to move to the next. We are going to be doing a lot of outreach so buckle up! Firstly get your thinking cap on. Who do you have as members of your church right now? I'm sure you can put them in groups. When they get into their little groups at church you will see how to group them easily. Every church is going to have it's small groups. That is just how people get along. Which one of those groups in the church is biggest? What are the ages of the people in the groups? Are they traditional or contemporary? Basically your asking yourself what type of atmosphere is in your church already? These are not the ones you want to advertise to first if you want change but if you are happy please focus on them! I will assume you are focusing on the group you are happy with. I'm going to make up a fake church and have a lot of farmers in it for this example. Farmer John is not going to be too happy when the church advertises the new low rider city folk fund raiser is he. You may have thought of this already but you just simply need to ask the people in you church questions. What outreach program would have drawn them to your church in the first place? How many of them like the same types of activities outside of churches? Ideas like these will start your church advertising off right. Getting your program noticed is the next step after you know what the advertising is going to be about. Old farm hands don't use the computer much. They may visit the local farmers market a lot though! A few signs and flyers around that area should do the trick. Don't spare anything now! Be ready for a great turn out on the next event. When the outreach ends it is not time to stop and smell the roses. It is time to start thinking of the next outreach. Don't neglect any group in your church. For your churches to grow properly every type of personality must be built up and more of the same type must come.
